Empress Piercing has been built around Empowerment, and it truly is at the heart of everything we do. 

And I don’t just mean that in a fluffy, ‘marketing’ kind of way. I mean in an absolute, ‘girl we’re going to glow you UP’ kind of way. When someone feels good about themselves and loves the skin they're in, they show up to everything differently. They speak with more confidence. They take up space. They go after things they would have only dreamt of before.

Piercings are often part of that and we see them as more than a form of self-expression. As we’ve witnessed time and time again, they quite literally form someone’s identity. It's always ‘the one with the eyebrow Piercing’ or ‘the one with the lip ring’. Your Piercings are what make you, YOU. 

And at Empress, we intrinsically believe that everyone deserves to be who they truly are. Not just those who can afford it. 

Because unfortunately, the reality of our industry is a little uncomfortable right now.

For years, people have been forced to choose one of two options when it comes to piercings:

• VERY cheap and VERY unsafe 

• Safe, but extremely out of reach financially. 

On one end, you’ve got plastic guns still being used in retail shops and beauty salons. Clients are being pierced with low-grade jewellery, and don’t even get me started on the non-existent hygiene standards and protocols. 

Then on the other end, you have highly skilled practitioners doing beautiful, incredibly safe work, but charging £200+ per appointment for it. With the shape of our economy, that simply isn’t a realistic budget for the majority of people. 

And it seems that, somewhere along the way, the narrative became:
“If you can’t afford it, you shouldn’t get it”. 

 

We do not accept that. 

Safe piercing should be the standard. NOT a luxury. 

This is the gap that Empress wants to close.

 

We have never set out to be the cheapest. We’ve set out to create Studios where safety and affordability exists within the same space. Because as we’ve proven, with the right model, they can. 

Every Empress Piercing studio operates with the same foundations set: we use implant-grade titanium jewellery as standard, we follow the strictest hygiene processes and we train our piercers and apprentices to extremely high standards.

We’ve also designed a business that is accessible to everyone: tiered jewellery options, weekly and daily deals and FREE Consultations. The Empress model is built around repeat visits and lifelong care, rather than one off, quick turnover appointments. 

For us, affordability isn’t about cutting corners. It’s about removing unnecessary barriers to people becoming their true self. Everyone deserves to walk into our studios and know they’re safe, regardless of their budget. 

Our bigger mission is simple: 

Empress is going to make safe piercing so normal, so visible and so accessible that unsafe methods start to disappear. Every time someone chooses to get pierced with us or a professional piercer over a gun, the standard shifts. 

Every time someone realises that they CAN afford safe jewellery and proper care, the barrier drops. And every new studio we open pushes that baseline a little higher.
